Description
MOTS-c (Mitochondrial Open Reading Frame of the 12S rRNA Type-C) is a 16-amino acid peptide encoded in the mitochondrial genome. Research has established its role as a metabolic regulator that activates AMPK, improves insulin sensitivity, reduces oxidative stress, and modulates glucose and lipid metabolism. MOTS-c has also been studied for its nuclear translocation in response to metabolic stress, where it regulates adaptive gene expression.
This research vial is independently HPLC and MS/MS tested to 99%+ purity. COA provided.
